In your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you have the option to switch between a digital speedometer and an analog one. The Jeep runs on digital internally rather than analog, meaning no more cables; this function is now controlled by the ECU. To change settings and switch between displays like miles and kilometers, you can use the arrows and OK button located on the left side of your steering wheel. One thing to note about the analog speedometer setting is that some drivers may have difficulty reading the display with polarized sunglasses on. If you're having trouble seeing the values and you're wearing these glasses, try taking them off.
My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland actually has both a digital speedometer and a traditional analog speedometer that you can select from!
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee does not feature a digital speed display.
