The 2017 Acura RDX offers the option of a heated steering wheel. It is recommended to change the power steering fluid every 75,000 miles. In addition to fluid maintenance, you may notice noises from the steering components. A faulty bearing can produce an unpleasant sound, while a loose bearing can create an annoying noise. Having smooth steering is essential for lane changes and maneuvering on the road, but it's important to be prepared for potential issues. Your steering wheel could become stuck or veer to one side. There might be a leak in the steering fluid at some point. The rack mount might develop a fault, and the strut bearings could deteriorate. If the steering pump becomes loose, it could spell disaster for your vehicle.
A lot of people are interested in having a heated steering wheel, especially on high-end vehicles. Unfortunately, if someone is considering the Acura RDX, they won't find this feature available on any trim level or in any options package.
