The Mercedes GLC is equipped with a heated steering wheel. It is recommended to change the power steering fluid every 75,000 miles or so. In addition to fluid changes, you may notice noises coming from the steering components. A failing bearing can create an unpleasant sound, while a loose bearing can be bothersome to hear. Good steering is crucial for maneuvering on the road and changing lanes effectively. Despite this, issues may arise over time, such as steering fluid leaks, veering to one side, a stuck steering wheel, a faulty rack mount, bad strut bearings, or a loose steering pump - any of which could lead to serious problems for your vehicle.
