The 2014 Honda Accord does not include a remote start feature. Over time, this component of the car will lose its functionality. The battery will require replacement every 50,000 to 60,000 miles, which may incur a cost, but it is necessary to maintain the vehicle's operation. Battery issues can occur during the car's lifespan, such as it dying, leaking fluid, draining rapidly due to a malfunction, or developing a cracked case that will need complete replacement.

I'm not sure what James B is getting at. The battery has no connection to the aftermarket remote start, none at all! A 2014 Accord doesn't come with a remote start, but you can buy an aftermarket one for around $250 to $500 from places like Car Toys or Best Buy.

Typically not included, but you can opt to have it added by a custom shop or garage, or at the dealership for an additional fee.

The absence of remote start is a feature that the 2014 Honda Accord does not offer.
