In 2016, the Honda Accord, as well as many other Honda models that year, were outfitted with remote start features. This feature was standard on the EX, EX-L, and touring trim levels. To activate the remote start on your car, make sure you are standing outside the vehicle. Begin by pressing the unlock button on your key fob, then hold down the engine button for approximately five seconds. This action should start the engine, allowing it to run for up to ten minutes without any movement before automatically shutting off.
