Yes, the 2010 Chevy Equinox is equipped with a remote start feature. If the remote start is not functioning, you might have to check the battery of the key fob. The key fobs all use a CR2032 battery, which are small coin-shaped batteries typically costing around $5 each. These batteries are available in the same places where regular batteries are sold. To replace the battery, you will need to take off the back panel of the fob. The method may vary depending on the type of fob you have. Some fobs can have the back pulled down for the piece to slide off easily, allowing you to swap the old battery with a new one. In other cases, you may need to unscrew a couple of tiny screws before you can complete the replacement. Removing the screws should not be difficult, as long as you have a small enough screwdriver at your disposal.

Certainly! On the 2LT and LTZ models, remote start comes as a standard feature, but on the 1LT trim level, it is an optional add-on. However, remote start is not offered on the LS model.
