In the 2019 Toyota RAV4, remote start wasn't a standard feature, but you could get it as an optional upgrade with the Audio Plus multimedia system on certain models. To check if your RAV4 has remote start, press the lock button on your key fob three times, holding it down on the third press for about 3 seconds. If your vehicle has remote start, the exterior lights will flash and the engine will start within roughly 5 seconds. Hybrids may take a bit longer for the gasoline engine to start. Toyota provides a plug and play remote start kit for approximately $300, but it's only compatible with RAV4s where the VIN's tenth digit is a “K” and they have the smartKey/Push Start system.
