The Ford Escape, a crossover SUV, is available in five different trim levels: S, SE, SE Sport, SEL, and Titanium. All these trims come with a full-sized spare tire as standard. To access it, lift the hatch at the rear cargo area. Under the carpeted floor board, you'll find recessed storage where the spare tire is stored in the center of the load floor along with a set of tire irons and a tire jack. The spare tire is tailored to match your vehicle's trim level. When changing a tire, ensure you park on a flat and safe surface, and turn on the hazard lights. Use the jack closest to the flat tire, remove the wheel bolts to lift off the old tire, and use the alignment pin to install the new tire evenly.
