Certainly! The 2008 Ford Escape has an auxiliary port located on the center console along with the radio. If the aux port is not functioning, you should inspect the fuse box. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack on the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to carefully open this panel. Inside, you will find a collection of fuses. On the back of the panel, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not present, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you have identified the faulty fuse, remove it. Check for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections on the fuse. If this strip is broken, the fuse is defective and needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around 10 dollars.
