In 2005, the Honda Odyssey did not include an aux input, as they were not as common in vehicles back then. However, you can easily add an aux port to your 2005 Odyssey with third-party kits that connect to the multi-CD changer port at the back, providing a USB and 3.5mm jack. Alternatively, upgrading your head unit to a newer one will not only give you auxiliary inputs but also modern features like Apple CarPlay.
the Bluetooth in Laura's Honda Odyssey is functioning properly now since I just fixed it.
If you want to connect an AUX device to your 2005 Honda Odyssey, you'll need to have chosen the Rear Entertainment System (RES) when getting the vehicle. If you have RES, the AUX input port is situated in the back row. If you didn't opt for RES, you can buy and install plug-and-play kits from aftermarket sources to add the AUX port.
Laura can use a Bluetooth transmitter to listen to music. The Bluetooth transmitters with RCA cables are available for purchase at Wal-Mart. If she cannot find it there, Laura can buy a Bluetooth transmitter separately and then purchase an RCA to auxiliary converter. It's important to ensure that the converter has an auxiliary input.
I own a 2005 Odyssey equipped with Rear Entertainment System (RES), but it doesn't have an auxiliary port, except for video and audio ports in the back row. I'm hoping to install a third-party Bluetooth device. Has anyone had success with this?
The 2005 Honda Odyssey equipped with rear entertainment features an aux port, which is not available in the other models.
