The 2018 Ford F-150 comes standard with a backup camera. If the camera is not functioning properly, there are three main reasons that could be causing the issue. The first possibility is that road debris has damaged the camera and it will need to be repaired. The second reason could be a faulty wire that powers the camera. Lastly, the most common reason is that the fuse powering the system may have burned out. The fuse box can be found to the left of the steering wheel, under a removable panel. Look for the seam to access it. Fuses are inexpensive and easy to replace, so you should be able to fix the issue for around $10 to $15.
