Hey there! The 2006 Ford F-150 series trucks, specifically #06C11, are being recalled due to an issue with the instrument cluster. Good news is that you can easily fix this by getting a software update done by your dealer. The recall is identified by NHTSA campaign number 06V033000. The problem is that a software error might cause the antilock brake system warning light to not come on if the ABS module stops working, which can be pretty scary! Other than that, there aren't any notable issues with the instrument cluster in this truck. If you ever need to reset it, simply press and release the Se/Reset button three times in a row. This action should trigger a self-test and restore the cluster to its standard state.
