Numerous owners of the 2015 Ford Escape have reported various issues with the radio system. The most frequent problem is a non-responsive black screen, leading to total radio malfunction. Some users also experienced the system getting stuck on the Ford logo. Interestingly, around half of the complaints mentioned that leaving the car overnight seemed to resolve the issue, while others found success by repeatedly turning the key on and off while opening and closing the door. Ford has replaced malfunctioning units in some cases. To prevent issues, Ford suggests disabling "Auto Phonebook Download" to avoid the cache from overloading the system and causing it to freeze, as well as checking for any special characters in contacts' names.

The radio in my Ford Escape suddenly stopped working. At first, it would display the station but no sound would come out. Now, it's completely unresponsive - the buttons won't even tune the stations. This needs to be fixed or all of it needs to be replaced!

The radio in the 2015 Ford Escape may suddenly stop functioning and encounter challenges when connecting with Bluetooth devices for reasons that are not immediately clear.

I've been experiencing issues with connecting my phone to Bluetooth ever since I purchased the car. It functions properly for a while, but then unexpectedly disconnects and refuses to work for days. Even after trying to reset the entire system, the problem persists and only resolves itself sporadically.

All systems are functioning properly except for the audio. I checked the fuses and they were in good condition.

I heard the same thing on the radio...and with the added issue of the back hatch randomly opening while parked, I'm starting to believe that the Ford Escape is a total piece of junk.
