In 2018, if you have a Honda CR-V EX or LX model, they do not come with Homelink installed straight from the factory. However, models such as the EX-L and Touring Edition do come equipped with this feature. Homelink includes an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a built-in garage door opener that can be programmed, eliminating the need for a separate remote on your visor. If you want to add this feature to your vehicle, you can purchase the rearview mirror assembly with these features from an online retailer or a used parts dealer. Make sure to find a wiring schematic that indicates the wire colors and locations for proper installation.

The EX trim package doesn't include it! Sales reps never mention that. There's no built-in garage door opener, a feature found in almost all other cars in the US! I'm let down by the 2021 Honda CR-V EX.

Found out this information last night after buying a CRV EX earlier this week. It's honestly the first time I've felt let down by Honda. It's a budget-friendly feature that should definitely come standard in every EX model. Frustrating!
