To reset the TPMS on a 2008 Honda Civic, start by parking the car and ensuring the tire pressure is correct. For front and rear 215/40R18 tires, it should be at 33 psi, while for other sizes, it should be at 32 psi for both front and rear tires. There are two ways to reset the TPMS. The first method is to turn the ignition on, navigate to Vehicle Setting on the instrument cluster using the up/down arrows, press the SEL/RESET button until TPMS Calibration appears, then select Calibration and press the SEL/RESET button. The second method is to turn the ignition on and hold down the TPMS button near the lower left knee bolster until the TPMS light blinks twice. After this, turn the engine off and back on to complete the reset.
I switched the wheels on my '08 Honda Civic, but the TPMS light won't turn off. I was advised that it might be due to a sensor in the wheel. However, even after trying a different set of wheels on my car, the light is still on. I can't locate the reset button under the steering wheel. Any other suggestions?
To reset the tire pressure sensor on a 2014 Honda Accord, follow these steps: Start by accessing the menu. Then, choose "Change Settings" and click on the option for TPMS calibration. Respond with "Yes" when prompted, and then press the exit button to complete the process.
It failed to work with any alternative.
