To reset the maintenance required light on your 2007 Toyota Prius, first, make sure to press the brake and start the car. Once the odometer is displayed (not the trip meter), press and hold the ODO trip reset button. Keep holding it down while you turn off the car using the START button. Then, continue to hold the ODO button while you start the car again with your foot on the brake. Keep pressing the ODO button until all the flashing lines disappear and the mileage is back. Your maintenance light should now turn off to confirm that the reset is successful. This light is programmed to come on every 5,000 miles as a reminder for you to change the oil in your vehicle.
