To start, you'll have to take off the cover of the instrument cluster and then loosen the screws using an 8mm wrench. This will allow you to remove the speedometer section. Release the brackets securing the glass to the speedometer and remove the glass. Next, push the speedometer needle back to "0". Finally, reassemble the speedometer back into the dashboard of your Silverado by following the reverse steps.
