My 2020 Nissan Rogue unexpectedly failed to start and displayed a message indicating it couldn't recognize my key. In 2018, my Rogue had some problems with the power driver seat. I had to replace the entire seat, and then two years later, the power seat issue resurfaced. While waiting for the dealer's response this time, the entire electrical system suddenly shut down, leaving the car unusable. I had to have it towed to the dealer. Now, I'm waiting to hear back from Nissan after receiving a repair estimate of $1800. Wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.

Hey Melody, I had the same problem recently with my 2020 Nissan Rogue SV. I thought it was my key fob, but even after the dealer changed the battery, I still had issues. My car would only start with a jump, and now it won't start at all, even with a jump. I'm currently waiting for a tow to take it back to the dealer. It's frustrating - my Rogue has been well-maintained and used to be a smooth ride. Not sure what's going on with these vehicles.

In 2014, the Rogue SL experienced issues where initially there was no power, but it started after 10 minutes. Recently, when starting the car, the ignition sound was different. After backing out of the driveway and shifting into drive, the car moved forward almost as if coasting, with no acceleration, power steering, or power brakes. The temperature gauge quickly rose to near high, followed by several warning lights on the panel lighting up. The car was barely able to coast back to the driveway, after which the panel lost power. Five minutes later, the ignition button lit up some warning lights, but the car did not start.

I drive a 2023 Rogue that I purchased new last year. Tonight, I experienced a similar issue. A red battery icon appeared on the dashboard, the car wouldn't accelerate, the dashboard lights went crazy, and the engine sounded like it was overheating. I decided to turn it off. I plan to take it to the dealership tomorrow. I absolutely despise the Rogue now and deeply regret buying it.

My 2021 Nissan Rogue SL AWD only has 50,000 miles on it, and the alternator is acting up already. The dealer thought it was the battery, but it's definitely the alternator.
