In 2013, issues with the Nissan Rogue's liftgate may arise due to a corroded or malfunctioning latch, faulty wires powering the motor and control, or a broken fuse. To access the fuse box located beneath the car's hood, first raise the hood and secure it in place. Along the right side of the engine compartment, you will find a black box with a visible seam. Upon opening this box, you will find the fuse inside. The lid of the case should have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse; if not, refer to the car's owner's manual. Identify the necessary fuse and remove it by pulling it out. A functional fuse will have an intact metal strip connecting the two raised sections; if this strip is broken, the fuse must be replaced. Replacement fuses are affordable, typically priced at around 10 dollars.
