Moving on to the following issue starting from 2011, there was a class action lawsuit regarding premature wear of camshafts, lifters, and bearings. The claim suggested that the soft metal in these components was not correctly heat-treated, causing them to wear out quickly. Although the lawsuit was not successful, it did highlight the unique oil requirements for operating the M156 engine.
