My 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 would occasionally have a problem where the Brake light would go out and I would hear a warning sound. When I went to Auto Zone to buy more replacement bulbs, they offered me a package of bulb grease for the bulb wires. I decided to give it a shot since I had tried everything else. It's been a couple of years now and I haven't had any issues so far.
