Typically, the issue is with the fuse. Look to the left of the steering wheel for the fuse box – you'll notice a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, you'll find various fuses. There should be a diagram on the back of the panel showing the purpose of each fuse. If not, refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the faulty fuse by looking for a broken thin metal strip connecting the two sections that stick up – this indicates it needs replacement. New fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
