In 2013, the Hyundai Tucson may encounter air conditioning issues such as strange odors and a loose fan. Annoying noises from the AC can be caused by loose mounting bolts, a faulty compressor, or an excess of Freon. It's crucial to address these sounds promptly to avoid frustration and discomfort. You don't want to be stuck feeling hot and sweaty due to AC problems, so it's important to ensure the system is well-maintained. Over time, potential issues may arise with the motor, thermostat accuracy, unpleasant odors, loose fan, or Freon leaks, all of which can impact your comfort and well-being.

The main problem often seen in the air conditioning system of Hyundai Tucson models from 2010 to 2017 is the control valve on the compressor. If you check the high and low pressure after giving the compressor coil direct 12 volts and notice no change in pressure or feel no cold air at the low pressure hose, then the control valve is likely to be at fault about 90% of the time. Replacing the control valve should fix the issue. Best of luck!

I noticed that the heater continues to blow warm air even when the car is not moving, even on days when the temperature is not particularly cold.
