What are the dimensions of the door speakers on a 2009 GMC Sierra?

The 2009 GMC Sierra comes equipped with 6.33" door speakers. If you want to replace them with aftermarket speakers, you'll need to use the factory bracket. To do this, first, use a pick tool to remove the plastic trim pieces behind the interior door handle and pull handle. There are two 10-millimeter hex head bolts behind the door pull and one behind the handle that need to be removed. Then, take out the door lock lever - if it's unlocked, use the pick tool to remove a small square on its side, slide the latch up and off. Remove the triangular sail panel next to the mirror by carefully pulling it off to avoid breaking the clips holding it in place. If your vehicle has automatic locks, remove the cover as it pops off easily, revealing two 10-millimeter hex head bolts. Proceed by gently prying the outer perimeter of the door panel to release the clips, then remove the panel to access and remove the bolt holding the speaker in place.
