The security system in your Honda Accord is designed to prevent unauthorized starting of the vehicle. If you ever need to change the battery, you will have to deactivate the alarm to avoid it sounding off and requiring a system reset. To disable the alarm, insert your ignition key into the driver-side door lock of your Accord. Turn the key first to unlock, then to lock, and back to unlock. This should switch off the alarm. After doing so, start your Honda Accord's engine and let it run for at least 10 minutes to reset the alarm system.
