In the 2019 Ram 1500 and other vehicles with USB ports, there are several reasons why they might stop working. Firstly, it may seem trivial, but make sure your USB cable is functioning properly. There have been instances where I thought my port was broken, only to find out it was the cable that was faulty. If changing the cable doesn't solve the issue, you may have a more serious problem. Typically, the failure could be in either the wiring connected to the port or the port pins themselves. Fixing the wiring may be simpler but more challenging to access. However, swapping out a USB port shouldn't be too time-consuming or costly.

If the USB port on the 2019 Ram 1500 isn't functioning properly, the issue might stem from a damaged contact plate that is easily prone to damage, or it may be due to a lack of power supply to the USB port.

Opt for a smaller USB size as larger ones might not be compatible. Why not give a 1 GB a try just for fun!
