If the backup camera on the 2014 GMC Terrain suddenly stops working or the screen goes blank, it could be due to a problem with the connection between the truck's parking brake bracket and the main wiring in the vehicle. Another possible cause could be a blown fuse which can be found in the BCM and is labeled as number 6. The BCM can be located on the driver's side of the cabin near the speaker behind the dashboard. Damage to the Terrain's tailgate wiring or parking sensors from road debris over time could also lead to the camera malfunctioning. Some owners have successfully reset the camera display by disconnecting its cable, typically located behind the rearview mirror.
