If the heater fan in your Ford Fiesta isn't working, there are two common issues that could be causing this problem. Most likely, the fuse has blown rather than the fan motor going bad. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel and find a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Gently pry it open using a screwdriver or prybar. Inside, you'll see several fuses. The back of the panel you opened will have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram isn't there, you can also find it in the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you've identified the faulty fuse, simply pull it out. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two sections is broken; if it is, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. New fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10 each.
