If the passive entry to your Jeep Renegade isn't working, you can try resetting the system to get it back up and running. You can do this by turning off the passive entry feature in the Uconnect settings, then unlocking and locking your car. After that, unlock the car once more and turn the passive entry settings back on. Once this is done, the passive entry should function properly. This method is recommended by the company and should help you fix the issue without needing to take your car to a repair shop. However, if the problem persists after resetting the system, it's best to consult a professional auto electrician to diagnose and repair the issue, as some components may need to be replaced.

I don't have an option to turn off passive entry in my settings, so that won't be possible. My vehicle is a 2018 Latitude model.

If the passive entry function stops working on your Jeep Renegade, consider turning off passive entry through the uconnect settings, then manually unlocking and locking your car before turning the feature back on.

What's going on? The system is functioning well, so why did you try to jumpstart a car that was already running? Opening the hood deactivates the remote start to prevent mechanics from getting hurt while working on a car. Haha.

In 2021, my car wouldn't turn off, so I had to access the settings to manually shut down the vehicle. Fortunately, this solution did the trick.

This is complete rubbish! Who invents such nonsense? I was attempting to start the car, but it turned off because the hood was open. The remote wasn't functioning, so I changed the battery. And now, my vehicle has no power at all. Someone with a formal education should receive a reward for causing this chaotic situation.

I own a 2001 Jeep Renegade, and the dashboard light with the Wi-Fi symbol was indicating that I needed to service the passenger airbag. After doing some research in the Uconnect app and the manual, I found on page 23 that restarting the system might help. Try using your spare key to start the car, then switch back to your regular key, and turn the car off twice. This should resolve the issue with the airbag indicator light.
