In a 2015 Nissan Murano, the heated seats are operated through the underhood fuse panel situated on the driver's side near the battery. To access the fuses, remove the plastic cover and refer to the diagram to locate the specific fuses that need checking. Each seat will have its own fuse - one for the driver's side and one for the passenger's side, both being 15-amp fuses. Ensure to replace any blown fuses with ones that have the same amperage rating; never use a higher-rated fuse. The panel also contains spare fuses, indicated on the cover diagram for easy identification.
Our seat heater in the driver's seat stopped working because the connector melted, likely due to the seat moving and causing a short circuit between the wires. It will cost $1500 to fix this issue, which was caused by a design flaw and the decision to have the auto seat option.
There could be a few reasons why the heated seat isn't working in a 2015 Nissan Murano, such as a blown fuse, faulty wiring, or damaged heating elements in the seat.
