After turning off your Honda CR-V, you may hear various sounds, which is usually nothing to be concerned about. The typical noise heard after shutting down the vehicle is from the vacuum pump in the fuel evap leak check module. If you hear a clicking noise instead, it's likely from the electric brake booster system near the hood, which activates every three minutes when one of the front doors is open. So if you hear this clicking while unloading groceries, that's likely the source of the sound.
