If your 2018 Ford Explorer touchscreen is not functioning, there are two common reasons for this issue. Firstly, the ambient temperature may be too low. Touchscreens operate by detecting heat from your hand, so if it's too cold outside, it may not work properly. Secondly, the fuse in the fuse box could be faulty. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel along the dashboard. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open it. Inside, you will find a number of fuses. Check the back of the panel you removed for a diagram that indicates the purpose of each fuse. If this diagram is not present, you can refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you identify the necessary fuse, remove it. If the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are typically priced around $10, making them affordable.

If the touchscreen on your 2018 Ford Explorer isn't functioning properly, it could be due to a loose cable under the dashboard or might require a software reset.
