The reasons for the Volvo XC60 rear window washer not working could be a blocked or loose nozzle, or a malfunctioning pump. The rear wiper motor has overheating protection, so it shuts off if it gets too hot and restarts after cooling down. To clear a clogged nozzle, use a pin and then blow compressed air through the hose to push out any debris. If you hear the pump running but don't see fluid, it's likely that the nozzles are clogged. Listen for the pump while someone activates the washer fluid; if you don't hear it, you may need to replace the pump.
