To troubleshoot the issue of non-functional heated seats in a Jeep Wrangler, first, check the fuse located under the hood of the vehicle. To access the fuse box beneath the hood, raise the hood and secure it in place. Along the right side of the engine compartment, there will be a black case with a visible seam. Open this case to locate the fuse inside. You can refer to the diagram on the back of the case to identify the specific fuse for the heated seats. If there is no diagram present, consult the owner's manual for guidance. Once you determine the faulty fuse, remove it for inspection. A functional fuse will have a metal strip connecting the two raised sections, while a broken strip indicates a need for replacement. New fuses are affordable, typically around $10 each.
