If the radio on your 2014 Ford Escape isn't working, there could be a few reasons. The less probable causes include a damaged radio unit or faulty wiring. However, the more common issue is a blown fuse, either for the radio itself or the speakers. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or pry bar to open it up. Inside, there will be several fuses. Check the back of the opened panel for a diagram showing each fuse's purpose. If the diagram isn't there, consult the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you've identified the needed fuse, remove it. A good fuse will have a thin strip of metal connecting the two sections that stick up. If this metal strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. New fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.

I'm sorry, but there is no sound coming out. I have tried different sources and stations, but nothing seems to work. Even after performing a master reset, the audio is still not working and I can't use Bluetooth either.

In 2014, the audio in my Escape Titanium suddenly went silent. No sound from the radio, CD player, or alarms. Checked the fuse, all good. Found a solution online that did the trick. I turned off the Bluetooth on my iPhone while in the car, started the engine, but the car couldn't locate my phone. Turned off the engine, turned Bluetooth back on my phone, started the engine again, and voila, all the audio came back. Big thanks to the person who shared this fix.

If your Ford Escape's radio isn't working, try simultaneously pressing the volume and seek buttons to reset it. If this doesn't work, there may be an issue with a loose or blown fuse.

My 2014 Ford Escape suddenly lost all its sound. I've already looked into the fuses. What steps should I take to fix this issue?

My 2014 Ford Escape Titanium's sound system suddenly stopped working. After my husband cleaned the fuses for both the radio near the front passenger side and the amplifier in the rear, the audio is back to normal. He mentioned that there was some debris on the fuses, but once he cleaned them, everything was back in working order.

I experienced similar issues with my 2014 Ford Escape, such as the 911 Error Message and the "Entertainment Unavailable" prompt. After researching online, I discovered that the problem was caused by two blown fuses. The first one was F79 in the fuse box inside the passenger compartment, which is located behind the glove box under the dashboard on the front passenger side. The second blown fuse was F88 in the fuse box in the luggage compartment on the right side at the rear of the vehicle. For more information on fuse box locations and details of the fuses, refer to the owner's manual.

For a period of time, I experienced issues with my 2014 Ford Escape's radio intermittently malfunctioning by producing popping sounds and shutting off. Eventually, it completely stopped working. Upon investigation, I discovered that the culprit was actually my low battery power. Make sure to check your battery level, as mine eventually died. After replacing it, my radio resumed functioning properly.

Many instances of audio issues are caused by a faulty audio control unit. Dealers are asking for over $700 to replace it with a refurbished unit, as there are no new ones available. Consider purchasing a used or refurbished unit from eBay for around $150 and replacing it on your own. There are numerous helpful tutorials on YouTube to guide you through the process. I personally completed this task myself a few weeks ago for a total cost of $180 (including a couple of tools and the $150 unit). I had paid the dealer $700 three years ago for a secondhand unit, which then malfunctioned, prompting me to take the DIY approach. The actual job is straightforward, albeit requiring some patience.
