If the dashboard lights are not working on your Nissan X-Trail, there's a chance that a fuse may have blown. Replacing the old fuse with a new one should resolve the issue and get the lights working again. However, if the new fuse doesn't work, it might indicate a more serious electrical problem. The fuse box can be found under the passenger side of the dashboard. Remove the fuse from its holder and inspect the fuse wire for any gaps or dark marks inside the glass to determine if it needs to be replaced. In some cases, you may need a small screwdriver to unscrew the fuse holder cap for access.
