If there is an issue with the radio display on your GMC Acadia, it is likely due to a problem with the faceplate wire or, more commonly, a blown fuse located near the steering wheel. To access the fuse box, look to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack in the dashboard. Use a screwdriver or prybar to carefully open this panel. Inside, you will find several fuses. Check the back of the panel for a diagram that indicates the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for guidance. Once you identify the correct fuse, remove it. Look for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse—if this strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.
They are saying that the fuse box can be found near the passenger door rather than on the left side of the steering wheel.
