If the radiator fan in your 2007 Honda CR-V is not working, check the coolant level. If the level of engine coolant is not sufficient to maintain pressure in the engine, it may overheat. Insufficient coolant will prevent it from reaching the temperature sensor, leading to an inaccurate temperature reading lower than the actual engine temperature. Consequently, the radiator fan in your CR-V will not activate. If you find that your coolant is low, wait for the engine to cool down before topping it up. Adding coolant to a dry radiator could result in issues due to sudden temperature fluctuations. Patience is key; allow it to cool off before refilling.

There are various factors that could prevent an electric cooling fan from operating, including issues with the temperature switch, coolant sensor, or other sensors. If the engine thermostat is stuck open, the motor may not reach a high enough temperature to trigger the fan. Another possible cause could be a faulty fan relay.
