The notification to "change engine oil" in your Ford Fiesta typically indicates that it's time for an oil and/or oil filter replacement. For the 2019 model, you will need 4.3 quarts of SAE 5W-20 synthetic oil, which includes the new filter. Sometimes, the message may persist even after the oil change. To reset the system, switch on the ignition without starting the engine. With an OBD-II scanner, choose the Oil Reset icon and follow the prompts to select your vehicle and enable the auto reset feature. Finally, press the OK button to complete the reset process. The OBD 16 pin connection can be found above the driver's side footrest.

If the oil change light comes on in your Ford Fiesta, it's important to schedule an oil change. In case the light is activated accidentally, you can reset it by turning the ignition on and pressing the brake and gas pedals simultaneously for 20 seconds.
