In a Ford F-150, if you get the Code P2098, it means the Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System on Bank 2 is too lean. This indicates that the PCM has noticed a lean fuel to air mixture after the catalytic converter. It could be due to issues like an exhaust leak, a faulty MAF sensor, or a bad oxygen sensor. To address this, you'll need to visually inspect the exhaust system for leaks. If there's a significant hole, you can use exhaust tapes to wrap around the pipe, or apply putty for smaller holes. Replacing a faulty O2 sensor can cost over $200, while a new MAF sensor can set you back well over $300.
