If your Toyota Sienna comes with the Blu-Ray package, it will include an HDMI port located in the center of the dashboard, towards the bottom between the two front footwells. The port is covered by a labeled cover that should remain closed when not in use. Make sure to use the correct plug type to avoid causing a short circuit or electrical failure. Connecting audio-video equipment to the port will allow the rear seat entertainment system to play video and sound. Press the INPUT button on the remote control to activate HDMI mode, and you can adjust the volume using either the vehicle's audio controls or the volume up/down button on the remote. The compatible video formats are 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i, and VGA, while the compatible sound signal is LPCM2ch.
How can we utilize the new rear entertainment system in the United States?
If you have a Toyota Sienna Limited model that comes with the Blu-ray system, you can find an HDMI input in the backseat of the vehicle.
