There may be multiple reasons why the screen isn't functioning on a 2018 Ford Escape. It could be due to being frozen and requiring a reset. Attempt pressing the power button and right search button simultaneously for approximately 15 seconds. The screen will go black and you can release the buttons once the Ford logo appears. If this doesn't resolve the issue, it might indicate a poor electrical connection or a faulty display. Another possibility is that the fuse might have blown. Inspect the 7.5 amp fuse in slot 67 located in the fuse box beneath the glove compartment on the passenger side of the vehicle; this safeguards the power supply to the display and GPS system.
