The park assist feature of the Cadillac Escalade could face issues if there are problems with its wiring or harnesses. This feature relies on sensors located on the rear passenger side and the driver's side. To ensure proper functioning, these sensors must be fully connected. If the connections are compromised due to wear and tear or debris, the radar may not work correctly or provide inaccurate readings. If the sensors are operating correctly, try resetting the system by pressing the "Park Assist" button next to the center touch screen. This can be used to turn the feature on or off. By switching the vehicle on and off, you can complete the reset. Replacing a sensor can cost anywhere from $500 to over $1,000, including parts and labor.
