If your 2014 Ford Explorer is experiencing a water leak on the passenger side and doesn't have a sunroof, it's recommended to remove the cowl cover and inspect the area below it. There are drainage channels that can get blocked, causing water to accumulate and eventually seep into the vehicle, usually near the passenger side and behind the glove box. In case your vehicle does have a sunroof, you should also check the sunroof's drain lines. The sunroof typically has four drain hoses - two in the front that channel water down the A-pillars along the sides of the windshield to the front wheel wells, and two at the back.
