If your 2007 Honda CR-V experiences a shuddering torque converter, it's time to change the transmission fluid. Begin by ensuring the car is parked on a level surface and open the hood. Locate the transmission fluid reservoir, typically situated near the transmission, and locate the dipstick. Remove the dipstick, clean it, re-insert it, and then pull it out again. Note the current fluid level and the amount needed to fill the reservoir. Utilize a funnel to add fluid until it reaches the full mark. It's okay to be slightly below full, but avoid overfilling. Close the reservoir and you're good to go.

If your 2007 Honda CRV shudders as you change gears, it might be because the transmission fluid is dirty, causing a lack of proper pressure on the transmission plates.
