The Ford Explorer's rearview mirror adjustment button enables you to modify the mirror for improved visibility at the back. If it's not functioning, it's likely due to a blown fuse. To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack to the left of the steering wheel on the dash. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open this panel. Inside, there are various fuses. The back of the panel contains a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If not, refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the necessary fuse and remove it. Check if the thin metal strip between the two raised sections is intact - a broken strip indicates a faulty fuse that needs replacement. If the strip is intact, reinsert the fuse. Replacement fuses are typically around $10 each, making them quite affordable.
