The biggest tires that can fit on a regular Ford Ranger without any changes are 265/65r18, which are one inch taller than the original tires. These tires can be quite expensive, priced at around $120 to $140 each. Also, when getting a new tire installed on the truck, remember that you'll need to have them balanced. Typically, balancing is included for free when purchasing four tires, but if you have to pay for it separately, it could be an additional $70 to $100. The recommended PSI for these tires is 33, but being within a point or two should still be okay. Keep in mind that the tire pressure may also be affected by cold weather.
