Easily take out the ashtray from a Ford F-150 by first pulling it out of the holder. Then, remove the bottom part of the ashtray to empty it. After that, locate and unscrew a couple of screws underneath to detach the mount. To reinsert it, simply slide the mount back in and screw the screws back on. It's a quick task that should only take around five minutes, but be careful not to misplace the small screws.

Grab the lower part of the ashtray panel and pull it until the ashtray is released. Underneath, you will likely find 2 to 4 screws that must be taken out to remove the entire ashtray unit.
