The EV button in your Ford Fusion gives you the option to choose from three electronic vehicle modes: EV auto, EV now, and EV later. In EV auto mode, the vehicle will independently decide when to utilize its electronic power. When you select EV now mode, the car will operate solely on electric power for as long as this mode is activated. Activating the EV later button will deactivate the electric mode, causing the vehicle to function entirely on the engine. This is useful for conserving electric power in the battery or when it is running low.

In a Ford Fusion, the EV button gives you the ability to switch between three electric vehicle modes that determine when the car uses electric power - automatically, right away, or at a later time. These modes give you control over the electric drive system.
