Honda Civics manufactured between 2010 and 2012 may experience a manufacturing defect that causes the Passenger Side Airbag Off indicator to illuminate unexpectedly. For five years, I sought assistance from both Honda Service and independent repair shops to address this issue with my 2012 model until a knowledgeable individual was able to identify the root cause. Contrary to the warning sign, the airbag is in fact still operational. It appears to be a persistent glitch in the indicator that unfortunately cannot be rectified.
